For long or more challenging trips, it is important to pack a larger selection of common items and even some additional items such as:

Additional bandages: Gauze pads, “ACE” bandages and butterfly bandages.

Additional drugs/lotions: Ointments for wound healing and relief of skin irritations

Additional tools: An arm Sling, SAM splint, a thermometer, some forceps, and/or an instant ice pack are some worthwhile suggestions.
