Announcing the 2023 Badger Sponsorship

Ohhhh, you know what’s up! It’s every outdoor adventurer’s favourite time of year: The 2023 Badger Sponsorship is now live! Cross your fingers and get entering because this year’s prize packages are incredible. From backpacks and tents to cookstoves and apparel, the Badger Sponsorship is ready to hook you up with some sweet new gear.

The Badger Sponsorship

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Badger Sponsorship, it is a beloved staple in The Trek community. Each year, we gather thousands of dollars worth of prizes (over $28,600 this year, to be exact!) from supporting outdoor brands and give it out to fifteen lucky winners! Yeah, it’s pretty sweet.

But it’s not just a giveaway – the Badger Sponsorship is actually a fundraiser. The goal of the Badger Sponsorship is to raise a boat load of money for the Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS). The PNTS protects and preserves some our most beloved trails across the National Trails System and we want YOU to play a part in helping sustain our favourite playground.

So, how does it work?

It’s simple: You enter, you win, and we hook you up with some of the best outdoor gear in the industry. Every dollar you donate through our BetterWorld fundraising campaign is an entry into the contest. Easy! So if you love free gear and you love protecting our trails, then entering the Badger Sponsorship is a no-brainer.

The Sponsors

The Badger Sponsorship would not exist without our incredible sponsors. Because of their support and generous donations, we’re able to spoil a handful of lucky hikers and adventurers, while also raising a ridiculous amount of money for the PNTS. A massive thank you goes out to Gossamer Gear, Sawyer Products, Backpacker’s Pantry, Point6, Big Agnes, Glacial Gear, Enlightened Equipment, Six Moon Designs, Jetboil, Jolly Gear, Appalachian Gear Co., Granite Gear, Backcountry, Purple Rain Adventure Skirts, FarOut, Vargo Outdoors, Montbell, Waymark, Sambob, Zpacks, Durston Gear, Superior Wilderness Designs, Farm to Summit, Bushka’s Kitchen, Thrupack, and Bedrock Sandals. We appreciate y’all!
