40/m/il In April 2024 I’ll be starting my NOBO thru hike of the Appalachian Trail! Long considered a logistically impractical daydream, the idea started becoming more tangible in 2021. Remote options saw me move out of the cubicle and into our National Forests. I spent time trying out van life and sold my house. By 2023, plans for the AT started coming together and now it’s hard to believe it is really here!
