It is 8 45. We hope that you do good things every day, but today we're going to give you an extra excuse and tell you about one company that is incorporating kindness into its every day way of doing business. Joining us now is Kurt Avery. He is the founder of Sawyer and the author of Sawyer Think: How A Small Company Disrupts Markets And Changes The World. We welcome you, Kurt, to the show on this National Random Act of Kindness Day.

Yeah, thank you.

So, tell us a little bit about what you guys do on a regular basis and why Random Act of Kindness Day is important to your company.

Well, we were in the camping departments and we do outdoors. We do insect repellents and we do water filtration. These are point of use water filtration. So like in Helene, we got a lot of filters up there. People could drink the water they were standing in. It's very big with the hikers and campers. What's unique is, and it's a very profitable business, but what's unique is that same water filter is what people need around the world to get clean water. And so, we're able to get these filters and maybe 2 to 5 million people every year get the first clean water they've ever had their life, and so that you know obviously changes their lives.
