Best Prime Day Camping Deals 2020: What To Expect

Amazon may have delayed its Prime Day sale extravaganza this year, but that doesn’t mean the retailer has forgotten about it. We expect Amazon’s annual sale to be as big as ever with a wide variety of wallet-busting Prime Day Deals just in time for the holiday shopping season. We will sift through the sale and find the best Prime Day Camping Deals just for you. Amazon’s timing is impeccable. You can save while you pick up some early holiday gifts or, better yet,  treat yourself to a few essentials for your end-of-the-season camping trip.

Today’s Best Prime Day Camping Deals

Even though it isn’t Prime Day, there are several fantastic offers out there right now. We’ve scoured Amazon for the best prices on tents, sleeping bags, and other essential camping gear. Not only did we find deals on the basics, but we also discovered a few discounted luxury items like the RockPals 25-watt portable generator. My only complaint is that eventually, backflushing won’t be enough. These can clog up after some time and no amount of back flushing will fix its low flow. I went through 2 on the AT. However, it will attach to Smart Water Bottles and most bladders!

Built for backcountry reliability and portability, the Sawyer Squeeze filter is our pick for the best portable water purifier.

MEDIA MENTIONS

The Sawyer Squeeze was (by far) the most common Pacific Crest Trail water filter this year – for the fifth year in a row. It’s a $39, 3 oz / 85 g hollow fiber filter that rids your drinking water of protozoa and bacteria (and floaties). It can be used with Sawyer bags (included with the filter) or with compatible water bottles (Smartwater is the bottle of choice for many hikers).
