Chelsea Collier is an editorial intern at CNN Underscored, where she contributes to tested reviews, editor-curated roundups and seasonal shopping guides focusing on home and lifestyle.

Before joining CNN, Collier spent two semesters as a commerce editorial intern for HGTV and Food Network, where she wrote about home, kitchen and lifestyle products and conducted hands-on product testing. Her work has also appeared in Business Insider. She’s always looking for a little something special to add to her cart.

Collier is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism with a minor in public leadership. She served as assistant managing editor at The Diamondback, the university’s independent student newspaper. Outside of the newsroom, she can be found watching the latest documentary, trying a recipe she saw on Instagram or taking a photography walk.
