Happiest when outside, Aly lives a life of adventure; hiking, biking, paddling and treeplanting. She started treeplanting when she was 21 and shortly after got into thru hiking and bikepacking. She's hiked the Te Araroa Trail, Continental Divide Trail, Great Divide Trail and Kungsleden Trail, and ridden her bike across Europe, down the Baja Divide and from Vancouver up to the Arctic Circle. She always has a watercolor set and sketchbook tucked into her pack to document the beautiful places she gets to visit.
