Thru-hiker, Trail name: Yeti Legs. Ecologist. Blogger, podcaster, and novice photographer. I live with my wife Marie (Trail name: Basecamp) in Breckenridge, Colorado where we are fortunate enough to have an unending number of trails to hike and peaks to bag. We both completed thru hikes of the PCT and TMB in 2022, and in 2023 I completed the CT supported by Marie. We were engaged on Mt. Rainier, married, and the rest is history. Since then, our adventures have taken us across the globe. I've found the best way for me to process the places, experiences, and emotions I've felt throughout is to simply write about them. And so, I do. Through my career and passions I hope to spread LNT and best stewardship practices so that we may protect the one planet we have.
