Skurka has been named "Adventurer of the Year" by both Outside and National Geographic Adventure, and "Person of the Year" by Backpacker. His new how-to book, The Ultimate Hiker's Gear Guide, has been getting rave reviews.
In his slideshow, "Circling Alaska & Yukon," he will recount his epic 4,700-mile 6-month hiking, skiing and packrafting journey with stunning imagery, entertaining videos, and captivating stories. In his informative clinic, "Ultimate Hiking Gear & Skills," he will explain what you need on your back and between your ears to make hiking fun, instead of an arduous chore between camps, without sacrificing your comfort or safety.
